Lineage Bureau is a service of Zoidworks LLC, a South Carolina limited liability company. We use the information you submit to assess and research the deceased relative you identify, communicate with you, protect the service from abuse, and fulfill any research service you purchase.

Information we collect

The contact form asks for your name, email address, and message. Please keep family-history details to deceased relatives and do not include private information about living people. Limited technical information may be processed to protect the site from abuse.

How information is handled

Pressing Send message sends your name, email address, and message through Resend to support@lineagebureau.com, the Bureau’s contact inbox. Your email address is included so we can reply directly. The contact form does not send messages to an AI model or begin automated research.

Your unsent draft stays in the current browser tab and is cleared when you refresh or close it. If sending fails, the form keeps your draft on screen and shows an error. A sent message is handled by our email delivery and mailbox providers; clearing the form does not recall an email.

We use your message to reply to your enquiry and discuss any research you may choose to commission. Sending a message does not start a paid service. We do not send genealogy details to advertising platforms or sell personal information.

Retention and choices

We retain email correspondence as needed to respond to your enquiry and support any work you commission. You can request access, correction, or deletion by contacting the Bureau at support@lineagebureau.com or using the enquiry form. Any separately commissioned research will have its scope and information handling explained before it begins.
